I don't know about this little guy but I could sure use some rain and/or cooler temperatures! We're in the 100's every day and the lake level is dropping before our very eyes! We'll take all the help we can get!!

Maybe he's 'praying' for rain ;-) I love Praying Mantis critters - they are SO neat and interesting.
Lake Lady: What a great capture, I've not seen one this year.
I haven't seen a (live) praying mantis in years and I used to see them frequently. Nice shot.
Aren't they the most interesting insects! I haven't seen one for a while here.
